When the fan kicks on and off, can you hear the compressor still running? If so, that is called short cycling. Yes, they all do that. Drop it a degree and it should stop it. If you can't hear the compressor during the on off cycles, it may be something else someone will be able to guide you on. Is it cool in there just not cool enough?

Short cycling. It keeps it nice and cool just figured the way it was advertised with the extra insulation it would hold temperature better. Kind of a dumb question really I guess I was just wondering if they all done that.

Pretty much yeah. Concerning when it happens and you have no idea what is going on, but I read somewhere 'drop the thermostat a degree' and that cures it.
