My wife and I are currently on a 6 week excursion from our home in South Georgia to Montana and back. We've stayed at several campgrounds along the way and dozens since becoming RV'ers last August. The above referenced campground is by far the most expensive campground we've ever stayed in ($80 a night WITH Good Sam). The utilities/hookups are old and poorly maintained. Low voltage. The staff cold and all business. The entire campground is a muddy mess. The sites are tiny and very cramped. My recommendation? If you find yourself needing a campsite in Billings MT, find a site somewhere other than this campground.

Actually in the lower third of all campgrounds we've ever stayed in. Very disappointing.

If you have time it's a very interesting stop as I learned that Custer was not really the hero we were taught in school about. After 9 1/2 years in USMC I found he actually was an idiot in the way he deployed his troops.
The a/c's in my 5er are Dometic 13.5k and 15k .Dave

That's what I have and the Supco's were fine in the electrical cans. Tight, but they worked. I did put a dab of silicone on the sides of the caps, but they would have stayed put as tight s they were even if I hadn't.

But the user reviews give it about a 1.5 out of 5.

And RVParkReviews gives it a 5.6 out of 10 which actually seems generous.

We froze our brains in Havre 32 years ago after the railroad transferred me there. Great place for an outdoorsman, but not for the faint of heart. Probably easier to live there now with the internet. No more driving 124 miles for school shopping. A life learning experience.

Yes we did! Quite interesting. We read about the underground city in Trailering Magazine a few months back when we were planning our trip to Montana and that's actually why we made the two day loop up to Havre.

We stayed at the Billings, MT KOA a couple years back (2013?) it was extremely pricey too but friendly staff, meals offered, tight but very well kept sites.

We also stayed at the Butte MT KOA on the same trip and vowed to NEVER go back there!
