We are planning to drive to Spokane from Minneapolis in mid October and would like to take Montana 200. We will probably use I-94 to Glendive
We have RLS297 and 2500 Chevy Silverado diesel.
Also have been looking at Highway 2.
Love to have comments and advice as to best route, stopping places, road conditions, etc
Thanks! Rick and Linda

We took 2 thru ND and Montana, the road was ok but they were doing a lot of fracking and lots of trucks throwing stones and pot holes. One pot hole in particular was really bad. We had a hard time finding camping spots because workers had them all full. Not much to really see up that way unless u gap to the Peace Gardens in North Dakota. Devils Lake might be fun to camp and fish. This was 5 years ago so I'm not sure but maybe things have changed.
