We belong to Escapees. We belong to the Escapees Discount Program and the Mail Service.

We pay about $29/year for the membership which gives us a discount to Escapees Parks.

We have an Escapees mailing address that we use for all our snail mail. We do a lot of our stuff online now which makes life a lot easier. With the mail service we took the cheapest route (around $195) to start. Included with that amount was a deposit for postage so when you have your mail forwarded they take from that deposit. We are using the Livingston TX location and don't know about their other locations.

You first join the discount club; then join the mail service paying those fees. We did all of that online. Once you do that then they send you a "mailing address". Once you have that then you can have all your mail forwarded there and sent to you as you need it. With our plan they don't open any mail or scan it to email it; they just collect it and send it. Larry gets meds from Express Scripts and they send an email letting us know that meds have been received so we can order our mail if we need the meds. Escapees sends the mail and deducts the postage from the deposit.

We have been full-timing for 9 years. We use a Post-Net store in our winter area of AZ. We rent a year-round box, & when we want our mail sent somewhere, we e-mail the address. The shipping charge is put on our credit card (set up when we rented the box). Easy!
We decided to go this way, as we didn't like the Escapees RV parks at that time, & have not renewed the annual fees to continue the Escapees membership.
Keep in mind that if you are on Medicare, your local plan is based on your address. Your Escapees address may not be easy to use.
