*** This Forum is created, supported, managed, and maintained by volunteers who own Open Range campers. While we do enjoy, encourage, and greatly appreciate any participation of those directly associated with the Open Range RV Company, this site is totally independent of the company. In order to support our readers with the good, the bad, and even the ugly from time-to-time, we believe it's important to be an independent voice. ***

Note to New Registered Members - Where to Start

New Members – A Starting point – Your First Post

As a newly registered member we would suggest your first post be in the Introduce Yourself Forum (linked here: viewforum.php?f=15" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). Just click on the New Topic button in the Introduce Yourself Forum and introduce yourself, tell us what part of the country you’re from, do you currently own an Open Range RV (if so, what year and model) or are you looking at the Open Range line as a possible future purchase, are you new to camping/RVing or are you an experienced camper/RVer.

We are a friendly and knowledgeable group of Open Range RV owners (and some potential owners) who share a common connection through our very positive experience with our Open Range coaches, the Open Range Company and our Dealers and we have come together to create this Forum to discuss and share our camping and traveling experiences, coach modifications (DIY), problem solving and maintenance with respect to our Open Range Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels.

So as a new Open Ranger Owners Forum member we encourage you become an active and positive member of our family as you to join in on current discussions or start new ones.

The Process of Moving all the Old topics/posts from the original ForumCo Forum to here, the New Forum

The Process is basically a copy and paste from the one Forum to the New form. Our objective is to preserve the Content of the topics and discussions. What we loose in the process is the Original User listed as the actual Author of their post, but we add the original Username of the Post and the original posting date at the Top of every transferred post. In an effort to clearly Identify posts in the New Forum that have been transferred ALL the transferred posts are posted under a special User “Transferred”.

DO NOT be fooled by the ‘Post Date’ that appears under the author’s name at the left of the post if the author is “Transferred” as it is probably an OLD post. When we Move the Information from a Category, for example DIF, we start moving the Oldest Posts first and slowly work our way chronologically towards the current date. In each ‘transferred Post’ we have the Original Post and the Original author at the Top of the Post.

So before you Reply to one of the Transferred Posts, take note of its original posting Date as many of these posts date back to 2009.

Thank you

An Update: July 16, 2011 - We are done with what information we are transferring from the old Forun to the New Forum.
A sincere THANK YOU to Butch who transferred most of the data.
