What does the space for it look like? I flush mounted mine on the side of the island.

There is a place under the entertainment center that already has the wiring, wondering what model they use, don't appear you can cut out the wall, if I knew how to send a picture I would

To post a picture in this forum:

Type the text message and when ready to add the picture(s) do the following:

1. Select "Browse" button.
2. Select the pictures on my computer (they should be 800x600 pixels max. and can be Resized in MS Paint using the resize button, make sure to choose pixels)
3. Select "Add the File"
4. Repeat steps 1-4 for additional pictures
5. "Preview" first to make sure it looks right and then "Submit" the post

Hope that helps since a picture would really help in this case.

I installed a surface mount. Don't believe a insert will work due to what's behind the wall. Northwest 80-WSG032 36" Curved Color Changing Fireplace Wall Mount Floor Stand Is the one I got from Amazon. If the sides were not curved I don't believe a 36" would clear the main slide coming in. As it is I only have just a little clearance with the curved edge. It only took about 30 min to install but make sure you hit the stud that is running across that wall (parallel to the floor). The thin paneling would never hold it. The power plug is behind the fuse panel.
I also got a curved heat deflector that is made for a floor vent to deflect the heat into the room and not up into the entertainment center. It work great at keeping my 310 warm.

JBlack, do you have a picture of your fireplace. We have a new 308bhs and have been trying to decide what fireplace to go with or how it would look.

Thanks in advance

Here is a couple of pictures. Not the best, but it will give you an idea. Note that the second one has the deflector on top of the fire place to redirect the heat out instead of up. This works great and the shelf above it stays cool to the touch.
