So is it the sat 3 port? I have my broken Jack ready for mod, just need to wait for spring.

My Sat3 port from the factory was just a empty spare port, no coax connection. While I was in Shipshewana for the CHR I had a RV Repair Center in Shipshewana install a new coax direct connect to my TV and back to the Sat3 port.
This was the only way to get HD TV thru Dish Networks. The factory coax was cheap & spliced therefore not allowing me to get full HD TV.
I disconnected the factory coax for the OTA/Cable so it would not conflict with another OTA coax connected to the TV.
The new test OTA antenna was plugged into an amp that came with the antenna and then a short coax was connected ted to Sat3 in the connivence center. The amp was plugged into the electrical outlet in the connivence center, the amp could be plugged in power behind the tv also as long it is in line somewhere.

I also had an issue with the King Jack mounting location on my 337rls. I also have a bedroom a/c which was taller than the antenna was inhibiting the reception, mho. While boondocking in Quartzsite the King Jack performed miserably. Not until I rigged up a 3 foot extension for the head did I get the usual 17 channels. Now three years later and after the King Jack had somehow disappeared last winter on our trip to Florida. That was it, I had had it with Jack King. I purchased the Sensor IV with the crank up hardware and mounted it in the exact location of the King Jack. I had to drill one 3/4 inch hole for the coaxial and mounted the arm flat to the back of coach at an angle of 10 degrees off of parallel of the side of coach. All connections hooked up as before with 2 small screw holes left exposed. One hundred dollars plus a tube of caulk.

Here again in Quartzsite, 29 channels, which some are new from 2015, with excellent picture clarity. Just crank it up and then down and on our way, no disassembly.

Just another idea..

Earl, my Jack antenna has died. I am considering doing what you did. The question is do you take the antenna down totally and store it somewhere in the coach while traveling. Jerry

Yes, I remove it when traveling. I think I bought a 10ft pipe at ACE Hardware, I cut about 3ft off the 10ft and installed the 3ft pipe with radiator hose claps to the ladder. I also got a coupler that goes on top of that and then I attache the antenna to the top of the 7ft pipe then step up on the bumper and drop the 7ft pipe into the coupler and tighten the set screws. my antenna came with a remote and I can turn the antenna 360 degrees. I can fold some of the antennas elements inward to make it more compact, it fits inside of one of my totes. The 7ft mast fits into my underbelly fence post storage area. The coax coming down from the antenna just plugs into my utility box where the coax connections are. In my utility box I have a power outlet and thats where the little amplifier gets it's power.

I was somewhere in Northern California, got 80 channels with the stock OEM antenna and 105 with the new antenna. Where it's going to be a big help when you are out in the middle of nowhere.
