Looks like a lot of changes for next year. The one that confuses me is this:

Quote:
Open Range Travel Trailer & Fifth-Wheel: Complete new fifth-wheel structure/platform increasing both ceiling and slideroom heights to over 7 feet in most floorplans; several new “industry first” interior and exterior additions on display.

I thought the Open Range line became the 3X line - which is listed right below as the next bullet point in the article.

Also - are they discontinuing the Roamer line?

A couple of product lines - they are cutting the MSRP's by quite a bit. So are they cheapening the lines or reducing the amount of negotiating space that dealers have?

Appears they may be discontinuing the Roamer line. No mention at all in the article. So very glad I have mine. IMHO its the best line in the family. Love mine. Very well built. Been in construction all my life.....only way to lower the price is with lower wages, inferior products/materials and less quality control......Rest In Peace Open Range.....

And 3X definitely makes a difference in the temp inside.....hot or cold! Coming from the 398 we are able to recognize how much more insulated the 3X is! And the slide toppers DO help with the heat.......just sayin!

Saw that article as well. So I just had to call our dealer and talk to my contact at Lerch RV. Roamer name is being discontinued, however the Roamer is now back to being called the Open Range (without the Roamer). It has been incorporated with the 3X's high ceiling and large slide rooms heights. The ultra Lite and Light brands have been merged, with the Light being a higher end ultra lite now, that offers a few more features over the standard ultra lite trailer. And they are offering a new ultra lite fifth wheel as well. I guess there are many changes yet, but saving them for the upcoming Hershey RV Show and the industry only Open House week in Elkhart. I'm definitely heading to the Hershey show this year, just to see what has change. Especially since one of the gentleman that started Grand Design is now the VP at Jayco in charge of their towable division.
