We need to have our RV towed from Maryland to Middlebury where we are scheduled to have one side replaced in a few weeks. We can’t take the time away so we are hoping to have it towed. When I search online, all links lead to the same towing service with mixed reviews. My service shop has no suggestions. I could use whoever Highland Ridge uses (they haven’t gotten back to me with a name yet). Anyone have experience with a towing company or have any other suggestions? Thanks for any guidance...

What about a dealer near you.
The opportunity for a back haul for a transporter would be good.

Slide replaced? What’s issue with the slide?

I’ll call the dealer Monday but I was hoping that HR hauling would provide the same.

Mickey...we are having the entire non-door side replaced...I made a tight turn into a parking space next to a truck and tore up the side.... this was on the way to the CHR....had it appraised there and scheduled the appointment. Not the dumbest thing I’ve ever done, but on the top ten list.

Not to throw salt on the wound, But I'm relieved to hear it was operator error. vs. some sort of manufacturing defect.

When I was looking to get mine out there for service, I considered having them send a hauler. They hooked me up with two different ones. $760 round trip from there to PA and back. Ultimately I ended up taking it out there myself.

Give HR a call... they will recommend a couple to you. My buddy used one of the recommended ones without a problem.

Mike, oh wow. That’s not good. I was hoping say that truck was damaged, not trailer.
One day trailers may be bulletproof.

Good morning, Mike and Peg,
Brian has used the service Uship.com several times for the purpose of shipping cars. It has worked quite well. Their website has a section for shipping rv's. You can get an estimate with no obligation so maybe you want to see what price you get there. You put in the details and transporters give you their bids. You can PM him if you have specific questions. I think he's used it at least three times.

Merry Christmas to you!
Marie
