So here's the dilemma.....
We live in Florida and campsites are hard to come by (especially while our Snowbird friends are here). If a campground is fully booked up, with the exception of one campsite that is wheelchair accessible, what is the etiquette here when we do not require this accessibility?

Here is a copy and paste from the Reserve America website regarding the site being wheelchair accessible:
"This is an accessible site designed for visitors with mobility disabilities. If you do not require an accessible site, please reserve an alternate site if available."

Thanks for the feedback.

The Americans With Disabilities Act trumps all. I would find another site. I've encountered that a couple times and I liken it to parking in a handicap spot when you don't really need it. Regardless of your situation, if you don't need the accessible site, find another one... especially in another park if you need to.

X2 on Mark's response.

We have had to show our disability license from DMV to the campground manager or state park official when registering for these type of sites.

We've rented one in Wisconsin at a county park but it was the last site available and they said irt was open to anyone in that case. I guess it would be up to the park management.

X2 on what lvtocmp said.
We have been offered the handicap accessible room when it was the last room in a motel.
If the site was offered to you by the CG for over night when you would be leaving the next day I would take it, if however it would be an extended stay that would be different and I would not take it.
